In recent years, sodium hypochlorite generators have been widely used in hospital sewage treatment. The sodium hypochlorite generator generates chlorine gas at the anode and hydrogen at the cathode. The chlorine produced in the anode reacts with the sodium hydroxide in the electrolyte to produce sodium hypochlorite; the hydrogen produced in the cathode naturally escapes in the air. When the concentration of hydrogen mixed with air reaches a certain level, it will cause harm to the human body. In order to ensure personal safety, we conducted a survey on the hazards of sodium hypochlorite generator in hospital sewage treatment.
