成绩考查是教学工作中的一个重要组成部份。其目的是配合教学进程来了解学生的学习情况，鼓舞他们的学习热情。使学生知道什么功课是他们熟悉的，什么功课是他们不熟悉的。今后应对什么功课加倍努力，自觉地提高自己的学习成绩，同时也便于教师检查教学情况和教学效果，了解学生那一门课程学得好，那一门课程学得差，对那一个学生应当个别帮助；使教师能认真地检查出教学内容和方法上的优缺点，不断地加以改进、提高教学质量。
