创新是素质教育的核心,培养学生的创新意识、创新思维、创新精神和实践能力,深入推进素质教育,是培养创新人才的迫切要求。在传统历史课程教学中,教师往往侧重对学生进行课本知识的强化和训练,容易出现“满堂灌”、“填鸭式”的教学现象。但在当前的历史教学中,倡导素质教育、创新教育,逐步在自由活跃的课堂教学中培养学生学习历史的创新能力,对提高学生学习历史的兴趣、综合能力,突破历史学习过程中的思维定式,培养创新型人才等方面将起到积极作用。
