清代末期由于文人绘画缺少创新的动力,一直停留在“四王”的绘画审美范畴之内,传统文人画风靡画坛。统治者推崇文人画,清末画家注重笔墨韵味的表现,忽视对现实思想的关注,并且追求淡雅的笔墨,最后导致了其笔墨的苍白,又无生活气息,这是清末“四王”体系的文人画走向衰落的主要原因。
Due to the lack of innovative impetus of literati painting in the late Qing Dynasty, the literati paintings have been staying in the aesthetic category of painting “Four Kings”, and the traditional literati paintings have become popular in the world of painting. The rulers praised the literati paintings. In the late Qing Dynasty, the painters paid attention to the performance of pen and ink, ignored the attention to the realistic thoughts, and pursued the elegant brushwork. Finally they led to the paleness and no life breath of their writing. This is the system of “Four Kings” The main reason for the decline of literati painting.
