In order to investigate the effect of RF electromagnetic radiation with a frequency of 1.84 GHz on the testis energy metabolizing enzymes in SD rats and its anti-oxidative damage, 24 adult male SD rats were randomly divided into 1 group according to their body weight Group) and three irradiation groups were irradiated with RF electromagnetic radiation at a frequency of 1.84 GHz and specific absorption rates (SAR) of 0.2, 0.5 and 1.5 W / kg respectively for 3 weeks and 5 days a week for 5 days each day The rats were killed by anesthesia immediately after irradiation and testicular tissue was taken. The left testis was fixed with paraformaldehyde and the right testis was used to prepare the tissue homogenate. The hematoxylin and eosin (HE) staining The diameters of seminiferous tubules of SD rats were observed by the cross-crossover method. The contents of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), succinate dehydrogenase (SDH), superoxide dismutase (SOD) , Catalase (CAT) activity and malondialdehyde (MDA) concentration. The results showed that compared with the control group, the diameters of testicular seminiferous tubules of SD rats in irradiation group were not significantly shortened, while the CAT activity and MDA concentration in irradiation group were not significantly different, but the activity of SOD in irradiation group was significantly decreased (P < 0.05). The activities of LDH and SDH in irradiation group with SAR of 0.5 W / kg and 1.5 W / kg were significantly decreased (P <0.05). Under the irradiation conditions, RF electromagnetic radiation with a frequency of 1.84 GHz did not cause significant oxidative damage to the testicular tissue of male SD rats, but reduced the activity of energy metabolism enzymes and some antioxidant enzymes in the testis tissue of SD rats.
