盐边县海拔1500～2000m,属高山民族地区,玉米是当地的主要粮食作物。为提高当地玉米的质量和产量,经过3年的试验,总结出一套适合中高山地区的玉米高产栽培技术。1 选用良种根据几年来试验结果,选用登海11号、海禾1号、雅玉2号、雅玉10号;鲜食玉米选用穗甜1号、穗甜2号、美国超甜糯。这些品种适宜性强、丰产性好。2 地膜覆盖海拔1500～2000m山区前期温度较低,采用地膜覆盖保温、保肥、保水,增产效果明显。
