In junior high school physics teaching, we will often encounter some complicated circuit diagrams. When students see this type of circuit diagram, most of them feel helpless and unable to get started. The result is that the parallel connection is treated as a serial connection and the serial connection is used as a parallel connection. In the circuit shown in Figure 1, how are the resistors R_1, R_2, and R_3 connected? Many students think that they are connected in series and actually are connected in parallel.
