多媒体辅助教学CAI(Computer Assistant Instruction)技术在大学英语教学中已经是一件非常普遍的事情,而且随着计算机信息技术的发展而逐渐成熟。作为一门在教学中得到广泛应用的一门新型技术,这项多媒体技术对大学英语教学的推动作用是积极的和不可磨灭的。它不仅使课堂更生动、更丰富多彩,更是在一定程度上提高了课堂效率和激发了学生学习英语的积极性。但是,长期实践证明:多媒体教学技术也是一把双刃剑,其弊端在日常教学中也日益显现。本文旨在探讨了多媒体教学手段在大学英语教学中的作用,尤其是新出现的弊端,希望能扬长避短,对更有效地利用多媒体技术来提高大学的英语教学质量有所帮助。
CAI (Computer Assistant Instruction) technology has become a very common thing in college English teaching, and it gradually matures with the development of computer information technology. As a new technology widely used in teaching, this multimedia technology is positive and indelible to the promotion of college English teaching. It not only makes the classroom more vivid, more colorful, but also to some extent improve the efficiency of the classroom and stimulate students to learn English enthusiasm. However, long-term practice has proven that multimedia teaching technology is also a double-edged sword, and its drawbacks are increasingly apparent in everyday teaching. The purpose of this paper is to explore the role of multimedia teaching methods in college English teaching, especially the emerging shortcomings, hoping to avoid weaknesses, and help to use multimedia technology more effectively to improve the quality of college English teaching.
