风化作用取决于各种地质营力与组成岩石圈表层的岩石的相互作用。风化作用的研究必须以查明某些因素为前提,这些因素决定着风化作用及其产物——风化壳的构成和形成机制。可是,关于各种因素对风化作用性质、强度的影响问题还很少探讨。尤其是涉及到风化作用中各因素昕起作用的定量评价问题。这些因素中最重要的是太阳热能、水、氧、二氧化碳和植物分解时形成的有机酸。
Weathering depends on the interaction of various geological forces with rocks that make up the surface of the lithosphere. The study of weathering must be based on the identification of certain factors that determine weathering and its products—the composition and formation mechanism of the weathering crust. However, the question of the influence of various factors on the nature and intensity of weathering is rarely discussed. In particular, it is related to the quantitative assessment of the role of various factors in weathering. The most important of these factors are solar heat, water, oxygen, carbon dioxide, and organic acids that are formed when the plant breaks down.
