出土的古器物上易卦都用数字作卦爻,如(?)(七八七六七六),六个数字构成一个六爻卦;新出土的战国竹简上易卦也用数字作卦爻。易卦经常用阳爻和阴爻构成,记载六十四个重卦的《周易》是古代儒家的经典,它的卦爻“—”表示阳,“--”表示阴,积爻成卦,有三爻卦(如)和六爻卦(如)。辨识数字易卦还是近几年的事,一九七八年在吉林大学召开的中国古文字学术讨论会上,张政烺先生发表《古代筮法与文王演周易》短论之
