机械零件上毛刺的去除,已成为机械工业中十分关心的问题。因为毛刺不仅会影响机器的寿命,而且严重时会导致机械损坏或电器零件的短路,造成重大的设备损坏等事故。下面以电表中的蜗杆为例,谈谈我们用电解法在蜗杆上去除毛刺的应用实践。蜗杆是电表中不可缺少的传动件,表面质量要求很高。齿面若有较小的毛刺或光洁度不够,在运行时都会导致齿跳或轻载不转等弊病。过去用机械法去毛刺,不仅不能彻底清除齿面上的毛刺,齿面光洁度达不到要求,而且费工大。现在我们用电解法对蜗杆去除毛刺和抛光,其工效比机械法提高5.2倍,去毛刺的效果也好,表面光洁度能提高1~2级。
