At the beginning of this new century, the influential U.S. “Time” magazine ranked 100 major events affecting the development of human civilization in 1000 years. Three of the selected events in China were selected. One of them was the Long March. This is rather unexpected, but in turn allows us to cherish the greatness of the Long March [1]. The earliest Long March in China dates back to the Western Expedition of the Hongliu Sixth Army in September 1934.
