近年来我国相继发生了一些食品安全事件,个别厨师做出了不守规律、不讲诚信、缺少职业道德的事情,严重危害了厨师的形象。目前,厨师树立新的职业道德,越发显得重要而迫切。天理、良知、国法呼唤新时代的烹饪职业道德。传统的烹饪职业道德并没有过时,但社会是发展的,今天必须增加以下内容:禁止食品非法添加,即,不扩大食品添加剂的使用范围,不过量使用食品添加剂,不违法添加非食用物质或本身质量有问题的食品添加剂。开设烹饪专业的高等职业学校,更责无旁贷,要培养出一批批职业道德高尚的,老百姓放心的厨师。
