引言随着对数字系统高性能的要求,ECL 的使用已超出特有的使用范围和突破了对环境严格控制的限制。在中央处理机相当宽的领域中以及通讯、仪表、小型计算机和计算机的外部设备等方面是需要ECL 的快速度的,现在这种情况更是与日剧增。这就要求使用一种标准、稳定、易于应用的ECL。本文中描述的ECL 形式,叫作全补偿的ECL。这种电路消除了大部分传统上使用ECL的限制,而且仍然保留其所有的优点,因此,引起很多领域的系统设计者的兴趣。
INTRODUCTION With the high performance requirements of digital systems, the use of ECLs has gone beyond the peculiar scope of use and exceeded the limits of strict environmental control. The need for ECL’s rapidity in a fairly wide area of central processing units, as well as external devices for communications, instrumentation, small form factor computers and computers, is now more than that of Japan. This requires the use of a standard, stable and easy-to-apply ECL. The ECL format described in this article is called fully compensated ECL. This circuit eliminates most of the limitations of the traditional use of ECLs and still retains all of its advantages, and as a result, has attracted the interest of system designers in many areas.
