本文叙述一种用于14英寸中挡磁盘存贮器的非传统旋转定位器的设计。这种设计意欲在保持传统的旋转定位器诸如高可靠性、低价格、低功率、重量轻及尺寸小等优点的同时,提供高的性能及道密度。 本文叙述定位器电机的结构及设计;磁头支承臂的结构及设计;由总的伺服系统包括定位器在内获得的性能;最后叙述这种设计方法的结果及结论。 计算机模型及计算机辅助测试和分析的广泛使用是十分重要的,特别要论述根据理论研究得到的模型分析结果并与定位器测量到的性能相比较。
This article describes the design of a non-traditional rotary positioner for 14-inch mid-range disk storage. This design is intended to provide high performance and track density while maintaining the traditional rotary positioners such as high reliability, low cost, low power, light weight and small size. This article describes the structure and design of the positioner motor; the structure and design of the head support arm; the performance obtained from the total servo system including the positioner; and finally, the results and conclusions of this design method. The widespread use of computer models and computer-aided testing and analysis is of paramount importance, with particular reference to model analysis results from theoretical studies and comparison with the performance measured by the positioner.
