本文通过对736名世居青藏高原(海拔3000-4000米)藏族7-18岁青少年学生手部χ光片的调查,探讨了各掌骨长度与身高增长间的关系及规律。结果表明:虽然手部五块掌骨长度不一,但每块掌骨的增长与身高的增长趋势都非常相似,二者间均存在着较高的正相关关系,而且各掌骨与身高间的相关程度难分高低。各掌骨长度/身高指数随年龄增长均显示缓慢增大趋势,数值仅呈相对恒定。本文提出了以各拿骨长度推算高原藏族青少年身高的回归方程。
