Not long ago, the “24 Hours Museum” temporary exhibition space was grandly opened in Palais d’lena, a famous historical building in Paris. Exhibition content is divided into three stages of history, contemporary and forgetting, using the exhibition area in different regions and chronological sequence in order to present one by one all the artists to elaborate on the various points. All of the exhibition’s activities take place in all areas of the building on a 24-hour basis. For the design of the pavilion, OMA attempts to present itself in the form of a social laboratory, presenting all kinds of exhibition spaces and ceremonial occasions in the social framework, from the 18th century classicism museum to the informal art collection to the commercial public museums , Into a large space. In contrast to the single historical style presented by Auguste Perret’s Palais d’Alena, which was designed between 1936 and 1946, AM0 plans to present “24-hour museums” in “experimental, classic, and informal” forms . The result of the design is to create a collage space of different sizes and qualities.
