绳索取心技术的优点就是能够借助打捞钢丝绳从钻具内把每个回次所钻岩心提取到地面上来,从而大幅度地提高纯钻时间利用率和台月效率,减轻工人劳动强度,尤其在深孔钻进时上述优越性更为明显;但在坚硬、“打滑”地层、破碎易堵塞地层钻进效率较低、岩心易堵塞影响其优越性的更好发挥。采用液动冲击器回转冲击钻进(或冲击回转钻进)技术是近年来新发展起来的一项钻探新工艺,受到了钻探工作者的重视。这种新的钻探方法机械钻速及回次进尺均高于回转钻进,钻探成本也有所降低。尤其在钻进坚硬、“打滑”、破碎地层时效果更为突出。这种新的钻探工艺仍用一般提钻取心方法,台月效率的提高受到限制。SZG-59型钻具,是把绳索取心技术与回转冲击钻进技术综合为一体发挥其所长,对提高钻探进尺,加快勘探速度,具有重要意义。
