Rental Agent: Hi, how are you today?
Stephanie: Fine thanks. I need to rent a car for a few days.
Rental Agent: No problem. Do you have a reservation?
Stephanie: No, sorry I don’t.
Rental Agent: That’s fine. Was there a particular model you had in mind?

① Nothing too flashy. 普通的就可以（不用太贵）。
Nothing too flashy. = I don’t want anything too flashy.
flashy: sth. expensive or fashionable, out of ordinary（昂贵的，时尚的）. 例如：
—What kind of printer do you need for your department?
你们部门需要怎么样的打印机？
—Nothing too flashy. We don’t print a lot.
普通的就可以了，我们打印得不多。
② I have a great car in mind. 我已经想到一款非常不错的车子了。
have sth. in mind: think of sth.; sth. just comes to mind（想到某事）. 例如：
As far as your project goes, I just have someone perfect in mind.
至于你的项目，我想到了一个合适的人选。
③ How does that work? 那具体是怎样的？
How does that work? = How does that function/operate?
How does that work?: usually used when wanting to find out how a particular thing functions（通常用于在需要知道某物/事如何运转时）. 例如：
—If you have subscribed for two years, you will have a chance to draw.
如果你订阅了两年，你就会有抽奖的机会。

④ You pay a flat rate of 350 RMB. 你支付统一的租车费350元。
flat rate: a rate (price) applied in every situation（统一价格）. 例如：
A flat rate is charged for all bus rides.
乘坐公共汽车的价格是一样的。
⑤ fill it up 装满
fill sth. up: put sth. into a container or area till it’s full（让容器装满某物）. 例如：
Please fill the tank up with Coke.
请用可乐把罐头装满。
⑥ drop off the car 归还汽车
drop off sb./sth.: take sb./sth. somewhere and leave them there（把某人或某物放在某个地方）.例如：
Just drop off the camera at my parent’s house when you return from your trip.
你回来后，把相机放到我父母家就可以了。
