路翎(1923.1—1994.2)这个名宇,借用他生前的文学伙伴兼“反革命”难友绿原先生的诗意表述:“你当然是熟悉的,但从来还没听见过也说不定。” 路翎本名徐嗣兴,祖籍江苏南京。早年在家乡念小学和初中时,即已大量接触中国新文学和近代外国文学作品,显露出文学才华。一九三八年春在四川省合川县入国立第二中学继续初中学业,同时积极投身当地救亡文艺活动,曾任民营《大声日报》“哨兵”副刊主编、参与演剧等。一九三九年四月因投稿结识《七月》杂志主编、著名左翼文艺理论家胡风先生,在路翎个人生活和文学活动史上无疑是最为重大的事件之一。
Lu Ling (1923.1-1994.2) borrows the poetic expression of his former literary partner and “counter-revolutionary” friend Mr. Green Yuan: “Of course you are familiar, but you have never heard of it before.” Lu Ling’s real name Xu Si Xing, native of Nanjing, Jiangsu. In his early years, when he was in elementary school and junior high school in his hometown, he had already exposed a large number of Chinese new literature and modern foreign literature to reveal his literary talents. In the spring of 1938, he went on to enter junior secondary school in Hechuan County, Sichuan Province, and continued his education in junior high school. At the same time, he actively participated in local salvation and literature and art activities. He was chief editor of the private daily newspaper Sentinel and was involved in drama. In April 1939, he got acquainted with Mr. Julian, the famous left-wing literary theorist, who is the editor of “July” magazine for contribution. He is undoubtedly one of the most important events in Lu Ling’s personal life and literary activities.
