培养跨文化交际能力有助于打破以往“就语言教语言”的模式,把文化因素引入英语教学中,在英语教学过程中揭示那些隐伏在语言背后的,易引起误会和冲突的文化因素。掌握语言不只是掌握语法、音位和语义规则,还必须考虑到目的语的社会文化背景造成的语言之外的规则。一个不具备某民族文化背景知识的人很难与该族人进行语言交流。高等学校的学生,已处于英语学习的较高阶段,在这个阶段应不断加强文化知识的导入,并把语言与文化有机结合起来,克服语言交际中的文化误用现象,有利于提高学生的跨文化交际能力。在大学英语教学中不能只单纯注意语言教学,而要努力营造交流的语言环境,培养学生强烈的文化意识,重视语言文化差异及对语言的影响,最终实现英语教学中跨文化交际能力的培养。
Cultivating intercultural communicative competence helps to break the previous model of “teaching language” and introduce cultural factors into English teaching so as to reveal the cultural factors that are hidden behind the language and are likely to cause misunderstandings and conflicts in English teaching . Grasp the language is not just grasp the grammar, phonemes and semantic rules, but also must take into account the socio-cultural background of the target language caused by the rules outside. It is difficult for a person who does not possess the knowledge of a certain ethnic background to have language exchange with the tribe. Students at colleges and universities have been at a higher stage of English learning. At this stage, we should continuously strengthen the introduction of cultural knowledge and combine language with culture to overcome the phenomenon of cultural misuse in language communication and help to improve students’ Cultural communication skills. In college English teaching, we should not only pay attention to language teaching but try hard to create a communicative language environment, cultivate students’ strong cultural awareness, emphasize the differences between languages and cultures and their influence on language, and ultimately achieve the cultivation of intercultural communicative competence in English teaching.
