大学英语教育是宽口径的素质教育,理工类高职英语教学应根据实际呈现其自身特色。其终极目标不应仅仅停留在教授语言基础知识,更应朝着有利于稳步提升不同专业、不同水平的学生个性化自主学习能力的方向前进。文章阐述了构建和谐的理工类高职第二课堂生态系统的必要性和其中所体现的新理念,并以英语晨读、英语角、大学生外语节为例阐述了具体的模式实施方案,以期能对提升理工类高职学校软实力进而提升理工学子的软实力有所帮助。
College English education is a wide caliber of quality education, science and engineering vocational English teaching should be based on the actual presentation of its own characteristics. Its ultimate goal should not only stay in the teaching of basic knowledge of language, but should be conducive to the steady improvement of different majors, different levels of personalized self-directed learning in the direction of progress. The article expounds the necessity and the new ideas embodied in building a harmonious second class ecosystem of Polytechnic higher vocational education and expounds the specific mode of implementation with English morning reading, English corner and college students’ foreign language festival as examples, It is helpful to improve the soft power of Polytechnic high vocational school and then to enhance the soft power of Polytechnic school.
