近几年我国在英语教学方面作了不少改革。把英语学习的端点从中学提前到小学。这一举措符合外语学习的特点。在小学阶段,小孩子的天真活泼,在生理、心理上都有利于学习英语。较初中学生更大胆开口模仿、说英语。但很多孩子在还没有适应英语教学的情况下,又接受新的知识。一旦上了初中,由于学生生理及心理特点,这阶段男生羞于变声这一生理现象,便不敢开口大声说话、朗读。这样很容易陷入教师“一言堂”、“满堂灌”的死胡同里。那么作为一位农村中学英语老师不容辞应如何去引导学生大胆说英语,使学生形成良好的学习习惯。
