The deformation and contact characteristics of air springs are described accurately by the combination of finite element and experiment. The vertical dynamic characteristics of air springs are established by using the theory of aerodynamics, engineering thermodynamics and heat transfer. The correctness of the model and method is verified by experiments. The influences and regularities of disturbing frequency, amplitude, throttle area, throttle spring stiffness, additional gas chamber volume and internal pressure on the dynamic characteristics of air springs are analyzed and summarized in detail.
