2016年1月29日,国内首条过海地铁隧道盾构机在厦门海沧大道站始发,这是中国隧道海底盾构技术发展的一个重大跨越。轨道交通2号线作为厦门地铁交通线网中的中心放射骨干线,主要承担了厦门岛与海沧城区间跨海交通功能,全长41.5km,车站32站,均为地下站。整条线路最大施工难点在于工程需要穿越厦门本岛与海沧区之间的海域。过海隧道区间全长2.7km,仅海底隧道的长度就达2.1km。
On January 29, 2016, the first cross-harbor subway tunnel shield machine in China originated at Xiamen Haicang Avenue Station, a major leap forward in the development of China’s tunnel submarine shield technology. Rail Transit Line 2, as the backbone line of radiation in Xiamen Metro Transit Network, is mainly responsible for cross-sea traffic between Xiamen Island and Haicang City. It covers a total length of 41.5km and has 32 stations, all of which are underground stations. The most difficult construction of the entire line is that the project needs to cross the sea between Xiamen and Haicang. The length of the cross-harbor tunnel is 2.7km in length, and the length of the cross-harbor tunnel alone amounts to 2.1km.
