年画是中国传统民间美术之一,其悠久的历史、丰富的题材及民俗功能一直备受民众关注与青睐。“仕女画”是年画重要的题材之一,其内容丰富、涉猎广泛,为探讨中国古代女性形象及其生活提供了珍贵的视觉文本。不同文化载体所塑造的女性形象亦有不同,年画中的女性形象不仅是男权社会对女性规训后的艺术表现,同时也成为“男女授受不亲”的中国古代礼俗中男性观看女性的一种重要方式,“仕女画”成为男性视觉欲望消费的对象。因此,文章以木版年画作为文本,在呈现中国古代女性生活的同时也窥探其中所隐含的性别权力关系。
New Year paintings are one of the traditional folk arts in China. Their long history, rich themes and folklore features have always attracted the attention of the public. “Beauty Painting” is one of the most important themes of New Year pictures. Its rich content and extensive coverage provide precious visual texts for exploring the ancient Chinese female images and their lives. The female images created by different cultural carriers are also different. The female images in the New Year’s pictures are not only the artistic expression of patriarchal society after the discipline of women, but also the male view of women in the ancient etiquette of “ An important way, ”beauty painting " has become the object of male visual desire consumption. Therefore, the article takes the woodcut New Year pictures as texts and presents the ancient Chinese women’s life as well as the sexual power relations implied therein.
