铜鼓是中国青铜器文化的一部分,它主要分布在南方地区尤其以粤、桂、滇、贵等地为多,其文化影响辐射东南亚等国家。众所周知,古代铜鼓的产生是为着祭祀、军事、集会、娱乐等各种特定的目的而存在的。时至今日,它在广西一些地区依然发挥着独特的社会文化功能。然而,当我们把铜鼓作为艺术鉴赏对象,以艺术审美的眼光对其加以审视时,可以说,它实乃古代先民们卓越智慧的艺术结晶品。
Bronze drums are part of the Chinese bronze culture. They are mainly distributed in the southern region, especially in Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan and Guizhou. Their cultural influence has radiated to countries in Southeast Asia. It is well known that the ancient bronze drums existed for a variety of specific purposes such as sacrificial rites, military affairs, assembly and entertainment. Today, it still plays a unique social and cultural function in some areas of Guangxi. However, when we use the bronze drums as objects of artistic appreciation and examine them with the aesthetic appreciation of the arts, we can say that it is indeed an art product of crystallization of the superior wisdom of the ancient people.
