The seamount cobalt-rich crust has a laminated stone micro-structure similar to the ocean manganese nodules, and contains rich information related to the ancient marine environment. In this paper, the synoptic radiation X-ray microprobe was used to study the microscopic distribution of various microstructures and their major ore-forming elements collected from two cobalt-rich crusts in the seamount of the western Pacific, revealing the long- The correlations between Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, P and Ca and the significance of paleoceanography in these samples can be used as the basis for distinguishing the important paleoclimatic events from phosphatation.
