Diabetes patients often associated with abnormal lipid metabolism, mainly as elevated TG, HDL-C decreased. Research shows that HDL not only reduces the number of diabetic patients, but also reduces the quality. HDL is a highly heterogeneous lipoprotein that can be divided into different subtypes using different approaches. The study found that diabetic patients with mature blood HDL subclasses decreased, non-mature subclasses increased. Leading to a decrease in the ability of the patient to prevent atherosclerosis (AS), the sensitivity of which is much higher than that of HDL-C. Therefore, focusing attention on metabolic abnormalities in HDL subclasses of diabetic patients may further prevent the prevention of diabetic AS line.
