Objective To investigate the dynamic changes of serum cytokines (TNF), interferon γ (IFN-γ) and interleukin 17A (IL-17A) in children with acute respiratory infection and its clinical significance. Methods 17 children with acute respiratory infection of adenovirus admitted in Neijiang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from August 2015 to August 2016 were selected as observation group and 17 healthy children were selected as control group. Flow cytometry Serum TNF, IFN-γ and IL-17A levels in children with changes, analysis of its clinical significance. Results The level of TNF in the acute phase of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P <0.05). The level of TNF in recovery phase was significantly lower than that in the acute phase (P <0.05) (P> 0.05). The level of IFN-γ in the serum of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group (P <0.05), and the level of IFN-γ in the recovery phase was significantly higher than that in the acute phase , The difference was statistically significant (P <0.05), and the control group showed no significant difference (P> 0.05); compared with the control group, the observation group of acute and convalescent serum IL-17A levels were significantly lower, the difference (P <0.05). The level of IL-17A in recovery phase was significantly higher than that in acute phase (P <0.05). Conclusion Acute respiratory virus infection in children can cause the dynamic changes of serum cytokines TNF, IFN-γ and IL-17A levels, which may be related to the occurrence and development of the disease.
