德骚车辆工厂是民主德国机车车辆联合企业的第二大工厂(按人数),其产值居第一位。该厂是生产冷藏车的专业化工厂,年产机械冷藏车约1600辆,其中1300辆为非夹层结构车体(隔热壁填装聚苯乙烯),供应苏联,另外200～300辆为夹层结构车体,供应中国或其他东欧国家。目前主要生产有五节式和单节式机械冷藏车。德骚工厂主要生产对象为冷藏车车体及部分内部铆焊设备,外委供应的零部件有:转向架、非夹层结构车的车门组成(夹层结构车车门自行生产)、车钩、制动机部件、发电车车窗、卧铺、制冷机、柴油发电机、
