有人认为,有高血压的人定期放血可缓解症状。受这种说法的影响,有的高血压病患者到要求参加无偿献血。当医生发现其为高血压病人,当不允许他们献血时,常使他们不解甚至不满。卫生部制定的《献血者健康检查标准》将高血压病列入了不能献血的范围。高血压病患者的血液中不但含有一定量降压药成分,还含有可致病的高血压因子,这对受血者是不利的。所以国家规定,有高血压病的人不能参加献血。
