Iron Deficiency and Iron Deficiency Anemia (IDA) remains a worldwide nutritional problem. In infants and young children, IDA can adversely affect growth and development. Sprinkles contain fumaric acid and other micronutrients coated with soy fats. Sprinkles are packaged in pouches that can be added to ready-to-eat, home-made complementary foods once daily. Spreads of 6 to 12 months of age and 2 to 5 years of age were provided to Sprinkles for 4 consecutive days in 5 Chinese cities to understand their acceptance. Four follow-ups were conducted during the experiment. The results showed that infants and young children to accept the Sprinkles food can be well accepted, mothers are willing to buy products listed.
