位于故宫御花园东北隅的浮碧亭,和西北隅的澄瑞亭相对称,结构造型也相同。浮碧亭始建于明代万历十一年(1583年),至今仍保持着初建时的形制。浮碧亭北为摛藻堂,原是珍藏《四库全书荟要》之所;东为宫墙;西面是参天的古松柏和高峻的堆秀山;南边有牡丹花坛和重檐和四面开门的万春亭。浮碧亭坐北向南,建在一座单孔拱券石桥上,下临水池。桥身居水池当中,南北横跨水池之上,占去水池面积的三分之一。池内养鱼并栽种睡莲,水池中,于右边有石阶梯可下至池底,东西泊岸饰有戏水兽面,周围有青白石
