丁香酚是丁香油及许多植物中的主要成分,具有抗微生物、抑制脂质过氧化、扩张外周血管等多种生物活性。作者研究了丁香酚体内外抗人疱疹病毒(HSV-1和HSV-2)活性。实验采用4～6周龄近交Balb/c小鼠,通过病毒斑块计数及测定病毒滴度评价丁香 Eugenol is the main component of clove oil and many plants. It has many biological activities such as anti-microbial, inhibiting lipid peroxidation, expanding peripheral blood vessels and so on. The authors studied the anti-human herpes virus (HSV-1 and HSV-2) activity of eugenol in vitro and in vivo. Intraperitoneal Balb/c mice at 4 to 6 weeks of age were used to evaluate cloves by counting viral plaques and determining virus titer.
