以新课标为背景,教学大纲对高中学生的英语综合能力提出了更高的要求,而英语课外阅读环节有助于学生英语知识的拓展。然而,由于英语课外阅读并非教学重点,无法占用过多的教学资源,且学生在课外阅读环节的自主性过强,容易导致学生课外阅读积极性降低且无法达到预期的效果。因此,为提高高中英语课外阅读的有效性,教师应在充分把握教学进度和学生认知水平的基础上,对课外阅读教学机制进行有效的改革。
With the new curriculum standard as the background, the syllabus sets higher requirements for the comprehensive ability of senior high school students, and the English extra-curricular reading process helps students to expand their English knowledge. However, since English reading outside the classroom is not the focus of teaching, can not occupy too much teaching resources, and students ’autonomy in extra-curricular reading is too strong, which easily leads to students’ enthusiasm for extracurricular reading and can not achieve the desired effect. Therefore, in order to improve the effectiveness of English reading in senior high school, teachers should make effective reforms to the extra-curricular reading teaching mechanism on the basis of fully grasping the teaching progress and students’ cognitive level.
