1981年我参加了原国家建工总局和建材部联合下达的“西安地区推广空心砖可行性研究”专题的调查研究工作。通过几个月的调查、试验、研究的结果证明,推广空心砖是完全可行的。当前,我国建筑体系中,砖混结构仍占主体,粘土砖又占我国墙体材料的90%左右。1980年全国砖产量为1566亿块,其中县以上砖瓦厂产砖405亿块,社队砖瓦厂产砖1161亿 In 1981, I participated in the investigation and research work on the topic of “Feasibility Study on Promotion of Hollow Bricks in Xi’an Area” issued jointly by the former State Administration of Industry and Construction and the Ministry of Building Materials. Through several months of investigations, experiments, and research results, it has been proved that promotion of hollow bricks is entirely feasible. At present, in the building system of China, the brick-concrete structure still occupies the main body, and the clay brick accounts for about 90% of the wall material of our country. In 1980, China produced 156.6 billion bricks, of which 40.50 billion bricks were produced by brick and tile factories above the county level and 116.1 billion bricks were produced by the socialist brick and tile factories.
