An open-loop electromagnetic mine-sweeping system is introduced, which is small in size and light in weight and can be towed in seawater by a helicopter or other aircraft through a streamer. One minesweeper cable extends back a certain distance from the main body. The first electrode is located on the cable with a sheath or sheath at the rear of the cable. The second electrode is located on the front of the tow body, which extends and connects to the tow cable. Rectifiers and transformers on the tow body convert the AC power from the towing body to the tow body into DC power that can be used for two electrodes.
