“,”Poland has a relatively complete medical insurance system, that who join the statutory health insurance could enjoy the subsidized medical services. The main diseases leading to death in Poland are ischemia heart disease, stroke, and Alzheimer’s disease. Polish people attach great importance to health care and traditional medicine has been widely accepted. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has been used in Poland. For example, acupuncture has been included in the public medical insurance system. There are a lot of TCM associations in Poland, and many Universities’ Confucius Institutes have set TCM courses. However, there still exist some problems in the development of TCM, such as the treatment other than acupuncture has not been fully recognized; there still lacks laws and regulations in terms of doctor training and TCM education; there still lacks clear quality standards of TCM. Thus this paper suggests that the two countries could promote the development and dissemination of TCM in Poland by standardizing TCM therapy, expanding the coverage of TCM in medical insurance system, promoting the use of TCM therapies, improving TCM education and academic qualification, could help to promote cooperation between the two countries in the field of TCM, and promote the development and dissemination of TCM in Poland.
