中国机械工程学会科技期刊工作研究会于1987年3月5～8日,在厦门市召开的中国机械工程学会科技期刊工作会议期间,正式成立。研究会第一批70个成员单位中的65个期刊编辑部的负责人参加了会议。总会许绍高副理事长到会作了工作报告。中国科学期刊编辑学会给会议寄来了贺信。国家科委情报局宋培元同志、福建省机械工程学会、厦门市机械工程学会和机械冶金工业公司等单位负责同志参加了会议。会上进行了经验交流,讨论了期刊工作应有的地位、作用、成就和存在的问题;讨论并通过了期刊工作的方针任务和1987～1988年工作计划。会议认为期刊是科学技术事业的重要组成部分,在提高生产技术水平,促进科技进步上起着重要的作用。期刊和学术会议是学会活动的两大支柱。目前机械学会期刊共70多种,每
China Mechanical Engineering Society of science and technology periodicals Research Conference March 5-8, 1987, held in Xiamen City, China Mechanical Engineering Society of Science and Technology Journals Working Conference was officially established. The head of 65 journal editorial departments in the first batch of 70 member units attended the meeting. Xu Shaogang, vice chairman of the General Assembly will make a work report. China Science Journal Editing Society sent a congratulatory message to the meeting. Comrade Song Peiyuan of the State Science and Technology Intelligence Bureau, responsible leaders of Mechanical Engineering Society of Fujian Province, Xiamen Mechanical Engineering Society and Machinery & Metallurgical Industry Company participated in the meeting. The exchange of experiences was discussed at the meeting to discuss the proper status, role, achievements and existing problems of the journal work. The principles and tasks of the journal work and the work plan from 1987 to 1988 were discussed and approved. The conference considered that periodicals are an important part of the cause of science and technology and play an important role in raising the level of production technology and promoting the progress of science and technology.
