本文对30名中南财经政法大学非英语专业一年级学生做了一次实验调查,旨在研究中国大学生英语成语习得中语言迁移现象。结果表明:语言迁移现象存在于中国大学生的英语习语的习得过程中,其中既有正迁移也有负迁移,正迁移发生在中英两种语言的习语形同意同(近)的情况,负迁移发生在形同(似)意异的情形下。笔者结合语言迁移的有关理论阐释了以上结论。笔者还针对该结论,结合调查问卷中的相关内容提出教授以及学习英语习语的一些建议。
This article conducted an experimental survey of 30 first-year non-English majors in Zhongnan University of Economics and Law to study the phenomenon of language transfer in Chinese college students’ English idiom acquisition. The results show that the phenomenon of language transfer exists in the acquisition process of English idioms of Chinese college students. There are both positive and negative migrations. The positive idioms in both Chinese and English languages agree with the (near) case. Migration takes place in a similar (like) situation. The author explained the above conclusions in relation to the theory of language transfer. The author also proposes some suggestions for teaching and learning English idioms according to the conclusions and the relevant contents of the questionnaire.
