The so-called “new order in East Asia” or “the new order in Greater East Asia” is merely a synonym for Japan to cover up the essence of its aggressive domination of Asia. It is an important part of the established goal of Japan’s “mainland policy.” Japan has succeeded in its promotion of the “mainland policy.” Japan’s ambitious aggressive expansion achieved its goal of the second phase of promotion, that is, annexation of “Manchuria.” Japan’s vain attempt to dominate Asia while launching the all-out war on China. As early as the First World War, Japan’s militarists proposed the establishment of “a new order in East Asia”, that is, the theory of establishing Japan’s dominance in Asia and creating public opinion for this purpose. When the militarist forces were sufficient to control Japan’s political situation, the theory then evolved into Japan’s basic state policy and put it into effect. Its tactic was first to post-diplomacy military affairs, but both ended in failure. Japan’s dream of establishing a new “Great East Asia New Order” will also be dashed.
