Greece News: According to the report of Gerhard Krueger, he found that the condition of 2 patients with Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) has improved. He said these cases are likely to prove that not all AIDS cases are associated with lymphotrophic virus (LAV) in human lymphatic retroviruses III (HTLV-III) or lymphotropic viruses. Krueger is professor of pathology and director of immunopathology at the University of Cologne. He said that although the two patients were homosexuals, the number of contacts was small. As a result of systemic lymphadenopathy, they came to the clinic for medical treatment. Krueger reported at the first international symposium on Epstein-Barr virus and related malignant disease that the two patients also had multiple infections, one of which had Pneumocystis carinii pneumonia. The second patient has bowel rosary
