塑料的问世给口腔矫形工作带来很大的方便.在多年的工作经验中,我们发现塑胶牙的抗折断及抗压碎性能方面较烤瓷牙优越得多,但其抗磨耗力则远不及烤瓷牙.在门诊工作中常见到一些全口托牙病人,假牙用了六、七年后,?面严重磨耗,有的形态全无,呈一不规则的平面,有的?面磨耗大部,甚至假牙部分磨剩无几,而基板代替了?面,从而使垂直距离减低,面容更改,颞颌关节因而发生病变.因此,如何增加塑胶牙的硬度,延长其使用寿命,降低病人负担,实为口腔科工作者研究的课题之一.我们在造牙粉(聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯聚合体)中加入废旧之瓷牙碎粒以增加其抗磨耗力,经实验室试验,效果比较满意,特此报导,以供参考.

After laboratory tests, the results are satisfactory, Hereby reported for reference.
