在西方的学术传统里,早就界定了哲学的作用,认为哲学具有基础性与整合性,既能为一切知识奠基,又能统合所有的知识。而艺术创作源于人类的思维活动,其思维活动的内容、方法和特征又取决于人类对宇宙自然的认识进程。但是,艺术的发展和认识的进程并非同步。早在两千多年前,我国的先祖哲人便提出了一套独特的思维方法和认识理论。不仅探讨了如何运用技巧表达思维内容和思维对象,而且从哲学认识论上表述了人类思维活动的特征。而理论发展和认识角度方面,到汉魏六朝,才深深地影响到艺术理论之中。可见哲学对艺术及艺术理论有着深远的影响。本文针对中国写意人物画所透出来的哲学性而进行相关的阐述,力图通过艺术家自身觉悟的创作历程来揭示哲学认知对艺术创作的影响。
In the Western academic tradition, the role of philosophy has long been defined. It holds that philosophy is both basic and integrated, and can lay down the foundation for all knowledge and integrate all knowledge. The artistic creation originates from human’s thinking activities, and the content, methods and characteristics of its thinking activities depend on human’s understanding of the nature of the universe. However, the development of art and the process of cognition are not synchronized. As early as two thousand years ago, our ancestors proposed a unique set of thinking methods and theories of understanding. It not only explores how to use skills to express the content of thinking and the object of thinking, but also expounds the characteristics of human thinking activities from the perspective of philosophical epistemology. However, from the angle of theoretical development and understanding, to the Han, Wei and Six Dynasties, it deeply influenced the art theory. Visible philosophy has a profound influence on art and art theory. This article elaborates the philosophical nature of Chinese freehand portraits, and attempts to reveal the influence of philosophical cognition on artistic creation through the creation of artists’ own consciousness.
