According to incomplete statistics, there are 499 landscape maps, mode diagrams, schematic diagrams, and contact diagrams in 6 textbooks of middle school geography. The large amount of geographic knowledge contained in these maps and the 3 local atlases is difficult to express in the text of the textbook. Therefore, the correct use of map teaching is very important to cultivate students’ knowledge transfer ability. Combined with teaching practice, the author’s approach is: 1. Church students to read, use a variety of geographical charts to illustrate the general ability of geographical issues. In geography teaching, teach the students to master skillfully in one
