In recent years, the University of Oxford Archeology and Art History Lab explored a systematic approach to exploring the flow of metals through the use of bronze trace elements, alloying elements, and lead isotopes. Combining the Oxford research system with the existing bronze trace elements and lead isotope data of the Shang and Zhou Dynasties, new information about copper and lead resource circulation network and alloy technology during the Shang and Zhou dynasties can be obtained. This will help us to further explore the bronze production and commercialization in different regions during the Shang and Zhou dynasties Circulation.
