本文作者吴克泰系全国政协原常务委员、台盟中央原顾问、中国和平统一促进会原理事。他是台湾“二二八”事件的重要历史见证人。本文原稿共16章,4万余字,加上附录6万余字,是作者历时数年的心血之作。2004年2月中旬,作者得知台湾岛内某些政治势力要借“二二八”事件大做文章,特赐稿本刊,要将历史真相告诉广大读者。遗憾的是,作者未能见到本文付梓,已于3月1日突然病逝。本刊同仁对这位可敬的革命前辈的逝世深表哀悼!
Wu Ke-tai is the former Standing Committee member of the CPPCC National Committee, former consultant of the Central Committee of the Taiwan Strait, and the principle of promoting China’s peaceful unification. He is an important historical witness to the “February 28” incident in Taiwan. This article has a total of 16 chapters, more than 40,000 words, plus more than 60,000 appendices, is the author of several years of hard work. In mid-February 2004, the author learned that certain political forces in Taiwan wanted to make a fuss about the “February 28th” incident and gave a special contribution to the publication, telling the general readers the truth of history. Unfortunately, the author failed to see the article paid off and died suddenly on March 1. Our colleagues deeply mourn the death of this honorable revolutionary predecessor!
