分布在湘中地区涟邵境内的跳马涧组可作新的划分。该组中下部含Protopteridium—Psilophytites等植物化石的紫红色碎屑岩系应为半山组。上部产Bothriolepis—Lepidoden-dropsis组合的浅色碎屑岩系则刚好相当于长沙地区的跳马涧组。 Protopteridium—Psilophytites组合与Bothriolepis—Lepidodendropsis组合既各具特色,但又有不可分割的联系,如Hostomella.Psilophytites.Dawsonites等分子在两个组合中都很丰富,且它们是国内外早泥盆世一中泥盆世早期的代表属种,可见跳马涧组的时代应与半山组一道,归于中泥盆世早期。
The Kau Ma Jian group which is distributed in Lian-Shao in the Central Hunan Province can be divided into new categories. The middle and lower part of this group contains the fossil clade of fossil fossils such as Protopteridium-Psilophytites. The light clastic rocks of the upper production Bothriolepis-Lepidoden-dropsis assemblage are exactly equivalent to the Komamajan Formation in Changsha. The combination of Protopteridium-Psilophytites and Bothriolepis-Lepidodendropsis is both distinctive but also indivisible, such as Hostomella.Psilophytites. Dawsonites and other molecules are abundant in both combinations and they are the first Devonian Representative of the early Devonian genera, we can see that the age of the Kamazian Formation should be with the Mid-Beam Formation, which belongs to the early Middle Devonian.
