“Green out of blue, but better than blue,” which is a familiar idiom. Do you know where it came from? Originally it was originally from the Warring States “Xunzi” book. “Green, taken from the blue, blue and green.” This means that dyes that dye cyan are extracted from Isatis tinctoria and Polygonum tinctorium plants, but darker in color than the original plant. Extracting dyes from Cyanidium or Polygonum blue is a great improvement in the use of plant dyes by ancient people in our country. Mankind has long used a variety of plant dyes dyeing fabric, resulting in colorful textiles, people’s lives more colorful dress.
